Trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each burn.

To ensure the best burn time, do not extinguish the bougie until the wax has fully melted edge to edge, each time you burn the bougie. Candle wax has a “memory.” If you do not burn the bougie edge to edge on the first burn, it will never burn edge to edge on subsequent burns. This is called tunneling and will cause your candle to burn with holes near the wicks, but nowhere else. This will drastically reduce the burn time, by not allowing all of the wax to melt. 

Our bougies use paper braided wicks to allow for the best fragrance throw and burn time. These wicks do “mushroom” at the ends, meaning there will be carbon build up at the ends of the wicks after your extinguish the flame. This is normal. Be sure to trim the top of wick before each burn. 

After burning your bougie, you may notice a rough top once it has cooled. This is common and a feature of all natural soy wax. While it won’t be as smooth as before it was burned. Also, some of our fragrance oils may cause the soy wax to have a slight discoloration. These variations are normal and do not affect the performance of the bougie. 

Always make sure the surface you burn on is safe and level. Never leave your lit bougie unattended or near flammable items.

Mo Thought: Check out our accessories page if you don’t have a wick trimmer. Wick Trimmers are the easiest way to trim your wick each time and it looks much more EL-EVATED than using your scissors :) 

[hush] body polish

After you’ve cleansed, massage [hush] lightly into your skin and allow it to absorb for a few minutes. Never underestimate the effect of giving it a little time. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry only.

KiKi Note: Try to keep water out of all of your body products as much as possible to avoid separation of product and changes to consistency.

[imagine] bain de thé (bath tea)

Shake to incorporate all ingredients. Fill your reusable muslin satchel with your desired amount of [imagine], leaving enough room at the top to fully close. From there, you have a few options to infuse your bath:

Fill your bathtub just enough to cover the muslin satchel with hot water. Steep for 15-20 mins then fill at your preferred temperature. You may also steep [imagine] in a separate vessel, pouring into your warm bath just before entering.

It is not recommended to use [imagine] without the muslin satchel because the flowers expand and could clog your drain. Hot water baths are not recommended as they can dry out your skin. Soaks longer than 20 minutes will enable toxins to be reabsorbed.

You may prefer to lightly rinse off after your soak and apply a soothing moisturizer. Please stay hydrated.

Muslin satchel care: After use, please turn your satchel inside out to discard the [imagine], rinse the satchel with gentle soap, and hang to dry. While the included muslin satchel is reusable we suggest that you do not reuse [imagine] once it has been steeped and only reuse the satchel a max of 3 times. 

KiKi Note: If you can prevent the flowers from going down your drain, I encourage you to infuse the loose [imagine] in a separate vessel first. Then add to your warm bath carefully. This will create a beautiful visual. 

[wink] bath sels (salts)

Add two heaping tablespoons of [wink] to the reusable muslin satchel, place in a warm bath. Lie back and relax.

You may use the [wink] without the satchel, however, please be aware that botanicals expand and may impact your drain. Hot water baths are not recommended because they can dry out your skin. Soaks longer than 20 minutes will enable toxins to be reabsorbed.

You may prefer to lightly rinse off after your soak and apply a moisturizing lotion. Please stay hydrated.

Kiki Note: Make sure your bathtub is super clean, before filling; will help with the post soak clean up.  The salts used in this soak will release toxins into the water so there may be a slight ring after. This will wash up more easily if the tub has been properly prepared.

Body Wash: 

• Apply into a loofah, washcloth, or your hands. Rinse.
• Finish with K&M body polish or lotion on slightly damp skin to lock in moisture.

Developed for all skin types and suitable for daily use. Best when used within 12 months of the first opening. 

Please be mindful of slippery bath surfaces. Discontinue product use immediately if any sensitivity occurs. External Use Only.

Whipped Soap:

• Best applied with your hands; whipped soap feels rather unique in the hand. Of course, you may also use a loofah or washcloth. Rinse!
• Finish with K&M body polish or lotion on slightly damp skin to lock in moisture.

Developed for all skin types and suitable for daily use. Best when used within 12 months of the first opening. 

Please be mindful of slippery bath surfaces. Discontinue product use immediately if any sensitivity occurs. 

[detoxi] Whipped Soap: 

• Best applied with your hands; whipped soap feels rather unique in the hand. Of course, you may also use a loofah or washcloth. 
• Leave on your skin a few moments then rinse.
• Finish with K&M body polish or lotion on slightly damp skin to lock in moisture.
• This soap is black but will not stain most tub and shower surfaces.
• Not recommended for surfaces that are porous. 

Developed for combination/oily skin types. Recommended use once per week. Best when used within 6 months of the first opening. 

Body Lotion: 

• Warm in your hands, and then massage into the skin.
• Best applied on slightly damp skin.

Developed for all skin types and suitable for daily use. Best when used within 12 months of the first opening.
